Billing questions
How does the free trial work?
Every new account gets 7 days free with 5 seats. No credit card is needed to start. Choose a plan any time during the trial; if you upgrade early, you're only charged when the trial ends.
How is Chatnexa priced?
Per user (seat) per month. Yearly billing saves 20–24%: Essential is $19 a month billed yearly or $25 billed monthly, and Growth is $79 or $99. Seats count everyone on your team plus pending invitations.
Can I use one account for several websites?
Yes. Add each website to your account, paste its one-line snippet, and every conversation lands in the same inbox, labelled with the site it came from. Each website keeps its own widget colours, welcome message and allowed addresses.
Can I change plans or seats later?
Yes. Owners upgrade, downgrade, add or remove seats and download invoices from the billing page in the dashboard. Changes are prorated by our payment provider, Stripe.
What happens if my trial ends or a payment fails?
Your dashboard becomes read-only and the chat widget pauses, but nothing is deleted. Choose a plan or update your payment details and everything works again straight away.
Is there an AI chatbot?
The AI Agent is on our roadmap: it will answer common questions from your knowledge base and hand over to a human whenever needed. Today, every conversation is handled by your own team.
